Job Description AECOM's Water Infrastructure / Civil Team in Rockhampton is looking for a passionate and highly driven Principal or Associate Director level Engineer who will set their career on a new trajectory by delivering a wide variety of regionally significant infrastructure projects, establishing, and building existing client relationships, and for the right candidate, leading people.

Working as part of a high performing, close-knit regional team that consists of over 25 engineers, scientists and designers, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with industry renowned peers nationally across our organisation to create whole-of-business success.

What will a day in this role look like:
You will have the opportunity to get involved in managing and completing projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering on time and within budget for design projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships working with various clients across a range of sectors.
You will guide and mentor junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.

Relevant tertiary qualifications and RPEQ / CPEng.
A future leader with an interest in succession and long-term growth within a global organisation.
Ability to work collaboratively at both an internal and external, client-facing level, developing new client relationships and maintaining existing networks within the business.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and meeting delivery requirements.
Ability to and interest in guiding and mentoring junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.
