Associate Director (Transaction Banking) - Bank of China Perth BranchBank of China Perth Branch is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Associate Director (Transaction Banking) to join the team.This is a One Year Maximum Term contract role, subject to review for an ongoing position after the contract period.Main Responsibilities:Check and examine documents under Letter of Credit and Collection; advise, accept, and amend Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and Collections.Process Trade Finance and Letter of Credit/Letter of Guarantee transactions accurately.Handle SWIFT responses for issuance, amendment, and tracers/queries on Letters of Credit.Prepare, negotiate, finance, dispatch documents, and settle Letters of Credit in a timely manner.Resolve issues efficiently and professionally to maintain high standards of customer service.Requirements:1+ years of hands-on experience in Trade Finance Operations, including documents, settlement, and systems in domestic or international banks.Proven knowledge of Trade Finance products such as Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Collections, and T/T.A compliance and risk mitigation mindset ensuring transactions meet both our Bank and regulatory legislative requirements.CDCS/CSDG qualification preferred.Strong attention to detail in day-to-day transactions.Knowledge of international trade regulations such as ICC rules, UCP 600, ISP98.Excellent interpersonal and structured communication skills.Fluent verbal and excellent written skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin) are required.Candidates must have PR or NZ/Australian Citizenship to be considered.Closing date for applications: 17 December 2024
