We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to lead our structural team of Engineers and Drafters in Canberra. You will be working on exciting projects with the opportunity to build a team and make a lasting impact on the company. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career.  Your Main Responsibilities You will manage and oversee the development of staff and staffing projections for ongoing and future projects within their team, while maintaining a positive relationship with current clients, and works to develop sales and marketing opportunities for the future pipeline. Assume responsibility for management and profitability of multiple complex large scale projects including pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling and monitoring progress, resourcing, meeting deadlines and budgets Responsible for the development, management and training of staff including recruitment, selection and remuneration Manage the technical and contractual aspects of projects to ensure technical requirements are met and performed in compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, TTW policies and procedures Apply advanced engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, as well as establish own client database Manage and lead the production of designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of various levels of complexity Assist in the establishment of and monitor adherence to discipline-related policies and procedures Lead and effectually manage staff by modelling and driving a positive, one TTW culture  Guide colleagues on best practice and share technical expertise within TTW About You Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Architecture or equivalent Membership with Engineers Australia and CPEng Minimum ten (10) years' experience in engineering design in a consulting environment Ability to scheme up major projects Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team Excellent understanding BCA requirements and relevant Australian Standards Demonstrated project management skills to deliver on time, on budget and to client requirements Strong business acumen   The Company TTW employs over 350 staff across six offices in Australia and Asia.
