Whilst being a mid-size firm, Wilde & Woollard is a leader in its field in the ACT, providing a comprehensive range of professional services in the management of capital works projects to a diverse range of clients in both private and government sectors.Position OverviewAs an Associate Director Quantity Surveyor at Wilde & Woollard, you will be instrumental to the leading of both private and government engagements as well as the overall operation of the organisation. The appropriate candidate will enjoy an attractive salary, potential to purchase equity in the business and, if necessary, will be offered relocation support. Your responsibilities will include working closely with clients to ensure project success and contributing to the overall running of the Canberra office.Our standard office hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Flexible working arrangements to support family and life activities can be considered. Our office is situated in Kingston, within walking distance to great cafes, shops and the Kingston Foreshore. RequirementsExperience: 8+ years' experience working as a Professional Quantity SurveyorProject Experience: Proven experience in providing a full range of professional services for major projectsTechnical Skills: Proficiency in using CostX and ExcelBusiness Acumen: Proven experience of managing budgets for future works and managing costs throughout a project.Accreditation: Corporate membership of AIQS or RICS or equivalentCommunication: Strong communication, client-facing, and interpersonal skills.Key Responsibilities:Quantity SurveyingManage cost planning, cost estimation, and cost management for various projects.Lead projects, delivering client satisfaction and project successAdministration and ManagementManage projects and client needsContribute to daily administrative operations, ensuring seamless office functioningInfuse energy and culture into the office Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
