Associate Director - Private Credit

About the Company Our client is a highly successful mid-sized Financial Services organisation with a true breadth of investments across private equity, venture capital and active funds including a Private Credit Business. They have an established reputation for high quality deals. The opportunity within the private credit business has come about as a newly created role to support the year on year growth. The fund has exceeded return expectations since inception and has a very loyal investor base.

About the role The position is a critical role and will cover a diverse range of functions from managing deal structuring through to evaluation and execution. It is a newly created role to support the growth in the fund to sit alongside a highly successful team. The successful candidate will be rewarded through a challenging and dynamic role providing exposure to all facets of the business and industry, with potential to grow in the business.

Key responsibilities include: Conduct legal and regulatory due diligence on potential lending opportunities. Evaluate potential borrowers and credit risk using financial modelling and analysis. Structure and negotiate lending transactions, including securitizations. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Monitor and manage loan portfolios and recommend strategies to mitigate risk and enhance returns. Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and investors. Key Experience/Qualifications Bachelor's or advanced degree in finance, law, or related field. At least 10 years of relevant experience ideally in lending with a focus on securitization. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
