In this role you will lead and supervise project teams conducting performance audits and assessments of government services and activities across a diverse range of government operations and entities.
You will manage internal and external relationships with government entities, broader stakeholders and the Parliament. The audit projects you deliver will provide the Parliament with information, analysis and assurance about the efficiency and effectiveness of a range of activities, programs and services
We currently have one full time, permanent Associate Director position available in the Performance Audit division of the Information Systems and Performance Audit unit. Job share arrangements may be considered.
We are also establishing a pool of candidates for full or part time, permanent and fixed term vacancies that arise until 31 December 2024. Fixed term appointments will have the possibility of permanency.
This process may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies (permanent, fixed term, full-time or part time) within six months of the date of completion of the recruitment process.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
experience conducting audits or assessments of organisational processes, systems and operations
demonstrable leadership skills, with experience in guiding small teams and effectively resourcing a portfolio of projects
demonstrable verbal and written communication skills for presentations and reporting.

Applicants must be willing to travel outside of the Perth CBD and to regional locations. The OAG conducts employment screening for successful applicants, including a national police clearance. An Australian Government security clearance may be undertaken, if required for the role.
