Seeking an experienced and passionate Educator to join our Primary School's Leadership team Role commencing January 2025 Ongoing Teacher Contract/ 3 years Fixed Term Leadership Contract About the Role
The Associate Director of Students is a proactive leader focusing on the effective day-to-day operation of the School; planning for and communicating organisational and administrative aspects along with community events in a timely manner with team members, students and families.
A major responsibility is the creation of a safe, inclusive and welcoming feel to the School for students, their families and visitors.
The Associate Director of Students will know each student; their stories and backgrounds and engage with parents in a supportive, compassionate and empathetic manner.
This role assists in maintaining learning environments that spark students' curiosity and desire to learn.

The Associate Director of Students works in support of the Director of Students to embed and uphold whole school processes and policies specifically related to operational, governance, child protection, work health and safety, and student duty of care matters.

There is a FTE load for teaching associated with this role.

About You
You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
A relevant tertiary degree and teaching qualification Demonstrated leadership experience Proven experience in developing innovative academic pathways to achieve outstanding academic results for all students Proven experience in the provision of Pastoral Care to effectively meet the personal, social, emotional and academic needs of students Proven experience in managing complex behavioural issues effectively Proven experience in supporting the positive mental health of all students The ability to work collaboratively with other members of staff and lead others PYP experience or an understanding of Inquiry pedagogy The ability to implement initiatives, deliver projects and manage change effectively Administrative and organisational skills Communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to the full life of an Independent school and a willingness to engage in School activities out of regular hours.
