An exciting opportunity exists for an Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) inpatient services to take on a leadership position at Sunnybank Private Hospital. Your clinical skills, excellent leadership capabilities and positive approach to work will ensure your success in the role. You will report to the Director of Nursing for Sunnybank Private Hospital.
The ADON, in conjunction with the Director of Nursing is responsible for: Grow and lead the team in providing safe, informed, adaptive and values-led care to patients, families, and Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs).Ensure the promotion of an effective, safe, skilled, and cooperative multi-disciplinary team environment.Be an influential role model for exemplary customer service and embed processes to improve service to patients and provide professional clinical leadership. Ensure direct reports practice according to their relevant standards, codes, and legislation, upholding a patient-centred approach.Lead the teams to a culture of engagement through prioritising the patient and employee experience.Promote an environment of safety, openness and learning through engaging with and embedding Healthscope standards, policies, and processes.Provide governance and leadership to developing a consistent experience for patient flow through a complex, high acuity hospital.Undertake a review of rostering practices to ensure an efficient service for employees and patient flow.About us With 111 inpatient Surgical, ICU, Medical and Rehabilitation beds, a Day rehabilitation program, a gym, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms and a day oncology unit, Sunnybank Private Hospital has been providing care to our local community for over 40 years and continually delivers the highest quality of holistic patient care.
