Given the flexible and agile operational environment, the Associate Director Network Resilience requires a high-level ability to collaborate and negotiate with senior stakeholders across multiple operators, agencies, and government departments.As a senior leader in the Transport industry, the Associate Director Network Resilience requires expertise in leadership and direction through change and innovation to achieve better network outcomes and support the day-to-day operations of the public transport and metropolitan road networks.Position OutcomesThe Associate Director of Network Resilience provides dynamic leadership to specialized Area Managers and public transport experts within the Operational Assurance team. This role requires exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and promote the importance of Network Resilience. The ability to process varied information and make timely, informed decisions that consider the entire network is essential for achieving high-quality outcomes.Key responsibilities also include developing and maintaining critical relationships across different transport modes to optimize network performance and delivering expert advice to both internal and external customers and stakeholders.Additionally, the Associate Director is tasked with driving innovation and continuous improvement in program and service delivery across the Department and at a whole-of-government level.
