We recognise people of Aboriginal descent, who identify as Aboriginal and are accepted as Aboriginal within their local community where they live and work.About the RoleThe Associate Director, Integrated Community Wellbeing supports HNC's mental health and drug and alcohol strategy and operations. The role supports better mental health and wellbeing for local communities through integrated pathways and the embedding of a 'no wrong door' principle for mental health and drug and alcohol services. This role leads the change-management process for reforming commissioned mental health services and provides transformational regional leadership by shaping a shared vision with people with a lived experience and key stakeholders.The deliverables for the position are aligned to Australian and NSW Government funding for primary mental health care, psychosocial support, drug and alcohol treatment, suicide aftercare, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander social and emotional wellbeing, headspace, Head to Health and disaster recovery initiatives.About youWe are seeking an exceptional candidate with the following qualifications and qualities:Experience in health system reform and leading change-management processes in mental health service delivery.Skills in commissioning including managing needs assessment, regional planning, co-design, procurement, contracting and evaluation processes.Ability to understand complex information, draw logical conclusions and execute service policy.Ability to build, develop and maintain strong strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and developing and implementing innovative projects and programs that are both responsive to local needs and enhance service and system integration.Strong engagement and people leadership skills with the ability to manage, develop, support and coach people to achieve success.Ability to champion organisational vision and strategy through supporting the development and implementation of operational plans.A strong commitment to principles such as Work Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Cultural Safety, and Continuous Improvement, ensuring a workplace that aligns with these values.Relevant postgraduate qualification and/or at least 10 years of senior management experience in some combination of business development, partnership management, community development, marketing & communications, policy or social impact, consulting.How to ApplyPlease forward your resume and a maximum three-page cover letter demonstrating how you meet the above selection criteria to (email protected).
