The Associate Director will support the Infrastructure, Energy and Utilities origination business within the Specialised Finance team.
This role is a great opportunity for you to join a team that will foster deep customer relationships across relevant Australian sectors, originate and structure transactions, manage the credit approval process and deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers.
Role based in Melbourne or SydneyJoin a high performing business unit that focuses on delivering world class client relationships and executing new lending transactions.Opportunity to build on your existing credit/analytical and client relationship skillsBring your ideas, ambitions, and passions both in and outside of workIn this role, you will: Support the Head of Infrastructure, Energy and Utilities on all aspects of transactions (i.e.
identification, evaluation, origination, development and execution).Manage the client and external engagements and execution of transactions including the due diligence, preparation of the credit application and completion of documentation.Perform decision-making on transactions and make recommendations to senior stakeholders through sound reasoning, understanding industry and market trends and considering infrastructure and energy insights.Raise and enhance the profile of NAB's leading infrastructure, energy, and utilities in the marketplace.Provide guidance/coaching to junior team members where required.What you'll bring: Extensive experience in Corporate Finance with a deep understanding of institutional banking, project and structured financing.Strong client centric mindset and stakeholder engagement skills.Excellent financial modelling, risk assessment and credit writing skills.Ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders to deliver on strategic initiatives.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.A diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyone We know that our people make us who we are.
