It aligns with the university's commitment to reconciliation and empowering Indigenous Australians through education and employment.About the RoleThe Associate Director for the Office of Indigenous Employment and Development (OIED) will spearhead innovative Indigenous employment, development, and cultural engagement initiatives, driving the University's Indigenous Employment Plan. This role will implement strategic vision and operational acumen, overseeing daily operations while shaping the OIED's future.Responsibilities include:Provide strategic advice to senior leadership and represent the OIED on university-wide initiatives.Oversee team performance, conduct annual reviews, and foster a supportive and inclusive work environment.Lead key programs, projects, and initiatives related to Indigenous employment, development, and cultural engagement.Align programs and projects with the University's strategic direction, including Indigenous Employment Plan and People Plan.About YouYou should be a strong people leader with a proven ability to build relationships and a deep understanding of Indigenous cultures.
