As an Associate Director, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve demonstrating mastery of specialisation, skills, and capabilities within the required domain experience of the role.
You will act in the best interest of the customer by applying a customer-centric approach.
Your role will also involve managing compliance and assessing both new and existing transactions while developing and maintaining a strong awareness of relevant industries, key trends, economic trends, and market forces.
Partner with Specialist Industries customers, Relationship Managers, and Product Partners to complete thorough credit assessments.Apply strong credit and industry portfolio analysis skills towards credit proposal recommendations.Manage compliance and assess both new and existing transactions.Develop and maintain a strong awareness of relevant industries, key trends, economic trends, and market forces.Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Product Partners, and the broader credit team to structure deals.Manage a portfolio of Specialised customers.Work closely with lending services to minimise provisions.What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Associate Director role will bring a wealth of industry experience including an in-depth understanding of the drivers of the chosen industry, practical knowledge, market & competition factors.
You will have proven experience in supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services.
Your background in credit assessment will be crucial in this role as well as your ability to build, maintain and influence relationships.
Current and ongoing understanding of industry trends.Ability to support customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services.Experience in assessing, advising, monitoring and/or approving a customer's credit worthiness.Proven ability in building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.Effective coaching techniques and strategies.Experience in selection, prioritisation and management of a portfolio of work.Ability to translate business requirements into solutions by understanding needs, feasibility and impact.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
