Clerk Grade 11/12 with a salary range of $139,787 - $161,663 per annum plus superannuationOngoing role based in Sydney CBDAbout the role The Associate Director, Events and Engagement is responsible for driving a strategic program of external activities that promotes interest and engagement with the key initiatives of the Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner.
This role plays a critical part in expanding the reach and impact of our programs across New South Wales.
You will be responsible for building and strengthening productive relationships with local councils, industry and community stakeholders, ensuring our initiatives resonate at every level.
Reporting to the Director Engagement, you will lead a team in planning and executing high-impact events, managing stakeholder relationships, and collaborating with Associate Directors to foster positive engagement across media and engagement channels.
You are a skilled engagement professional with a proven track record of leading successful programs and large-scale events, particularly within the realms of local government, hospitality, entertainment and retail.
You excel in managing complex, multifaceted projects, navigating deadlines, budgets, and the occasional contentious issue with ease and professionalism.
With strong knowledge of NSW Public Sector policies and regulatory frameworks, you bring expertise in stakeholder management, safety and risk assessment, ensuring every initiative meets high standards of impact, compliance and efficiency.
