Salary range of $139,787 - $161,663 pa plus superannuation and leave loading. Ongoing role based in the Sydney CBD, NSW. About the role The Data and Information Technology team within DCITHS have a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Director to join the team. In this role of Associate Director Data Services, you will lead the data services function of work to establish a data services function within the Department, driving data capability of data services and ensuring business continuity throughout the Department.
The program of work being delivered by the team will include drafting, reviewing, and refreshing the data strategy, designing, and delivering the data roadmap and leading the implementation of this. This role will be responsible for developing the data governance framework, leading the delivery of this ensuring strong governance & reporting to the executive leadership cohort.
The data services team will engage with key stakeholders across the department to develop a fit for purpose data strategy and lead the development of data products that align with the strategic roadmap. The team will also work towards establishing data governance frameworks that include people, process and technology and driving compliance and adoption across the department.
You will : Have a strategic data approach, putting the customer at the centre of everything you do. Have an innovative mindset, finding the opportunity to improve and expand on industry best practice tools. Have technical leadership experience, leading and coaching staff to drive a culture of high performers. Working at the centre of a diverse and dynamic portfolio, you will be comfortable with managing competing priorities and delivering in changing environments.
