About the role The Associate Director, Business Systems brings extensive and specialist knowledge of Business Systems and an understanding of the complexities of the higher education environment.
The role is recognised as a principal specialist in the development, management, and optimisation of business systems and technologies that support Deakin's administrative, academic, and operational functions.
This role involves aligning Digital systems with the university's strategic goals and ensuring the smooth operation of systems used by staff, faculty, and students.
It leads and motivates a team of professionals to collaborate and deliver outstanding advice and services to our customers.
The role reports to Director, Systems and Solutions and provides advice on issues of a strategic nature.
Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of skilled professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with Deakin's goals and future needs.Partner with Business owners to manage the selection, implementation, and integration of enterprise systems and other key platforms.Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects related to business systems.To be successful, you'll have Qualifications and experience commensurate with appointment at level.Extensive experience conceptualising, developing and implementing contemporary solutions, strategies and services.A sound knowledge and understanding of contemporary relevant discipline practices.Experience aligning technology with institutional goals.For a copy of the position description, please see below:
