NAB's High Growth & Emerging Corporate (HGEC) customers are provided with funding solutions, insights, and services to enable them to build successful and sustainable businesses.
The role of Associate Director within HGEC predominantly focuses on businesses that are enabling industries and growing at a fast pace.
It involves a broad range of activities including supporting strategic planning, client relationship management, engagement with internal and external stakeholders, supporting origination and structuring of new transactions, creating, and maintaining a sustainable risk position in relation to the client set and for this instance Regional and Agribusiness and Specialist Sectors.
This exciting opportunity truly is a full life cycle business development role whereby you will be responsible for the customer "value propositions."
You'll also collaborate with a variety of product specialist areas, Deal Structuring & Execution Team, Corporate and Business Bank to name but a few.
As the Associate Director you will Formulate, propose, gain agreement to, and implement annual business plans to deliver income targets for the area.Implement specific local competitive sales/income campaigns and initiatives geared to achieving growth in interest and non-interest income and increased market share penetration, and associated targets.Develop and manage referral partners.Conduct regular, planned sales calls with structured objectives and outcomes and formally capture sales call outcomes using Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce).Monitor sales pipeline to ensure sales budgets are achieved and initiate planned activities to rectify when necessary.Liaise with other colleagues across segments & specialisations to ensure that knowledge transfer/leverage of experience is achieved.Manage and leverage internal relationships to deliver a comprehensive, competitive, and quality service experience to Business Banking Segments.Support all centralised product, pricing, policy, and process communications and respond to queries regarding product, pricing, policy, and process.Effectively manage customer satisfaction/retention and act swiftly on any customer complaints.Continuously assess the quality of service provided to Business Bank principal customers, ensuring service provision is of the highest quality, develop measures and processes to assess service levels and to identify potential improvements.What you will bring Business Development/Sales/Client Acquisition and/or Operations Growth Management, ideally within Banking or Financial Institutions, and/or equivalent professional experience in a related career.Demonstrated track record in sales and growth.Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience.Experience and ability to engage, partner and influence stakeholders at all levels.The ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and across large complex environments, whilst prioritising your work under pressure.Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment but also with a continuous improvement lens and comfortable with autonomy.A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.Business related degree and/or post-graduate professional qualification is preferred.A diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyone
