They are now seeking an Associate Director to lead the newly formed residential division of their Sydney studio.
Role SummaryThe Associate Director will develop and grow the new residential sector, championing design excellence and client satisfaction.
Reporting directly to the Director of the Sydney studio, the role will involve collaboration with clients, local councils, and internal teams to deliver excellent outcomes, from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of mid to large-scale residential and mixed-use projects.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, translating their visions into actionable and feasible design concepts.
Navigate projects through council approvals efficiently.
Get involved in business development activities to attract new clients and projects through strategic marketing and relationship-building.
Mentor and inspire a team of designers and architects, fostering a creative and productive work environment.
Present concepts and designs to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
Ensure all project phases meet quality standards, deadlines, and budgetary constraints.
Required Skills
A proven track record in conceptual design, with a portfolio that showcases innovative residential projects.
Demonstrated ability to successfully obtain council approvals for complex projects.
Experience in managing mid to large-scale architectural projects.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging effectively with all project stakeholders.
A comprehensive understanding of the architectural project lifecycle from concept to completion.
Strong design skills and the ability to engage clients effectively.
Qualifications
Registration as an Architect in NSW.
Extensive experience in a senior architectural role.
