About the role With a consistent increase in work from some of Australia'slargest insurers, our General Insurance practice group have a newopportunity for an Associate with 3-5 years' PQE to join theirteam. Working under the guidance of a supportive Partner who isrecognised by Best Lawyers for Insurance, this position will seeyou taking instructions and providing initial advices, draftingpleadings, liaising with clients, insurers and other lawyers,negotiating outcomes and attending to all stages of the litigationprocess. Additionally, there are opportunities to assist inbusiness development.
About you Ideally, you will have 3-5 years' PQE working in a law firm, andhave experience with personal injury claims on the defendant side.To be successful in this role, you will also need to haveexperience reviewing medical reports and be able to assessquantum.
If you have experience in other areas of insurance such asWorkCover and a genuine interest in personal injury, we encourageyou to apply. We also encourage junior lawyers with 3 yearsof experience, consisting of both pre and post-admissionexperience, to apply.
