You will be working with many stakeholders from different areas of the business, and their familiarity with data management practices will vary. You will need to be able to adapt to your audience as required. This role will provide support to the functions of the Data Governance team, projects, and the Data Stewardship model via strong policies, procedures, and standards.Ensure Data Governance policies, procedures, and standards are followed to support the Data Governance Framework and are operationalised across the organisation.Support the Data Owners and Data Stewards on their Data Governance journey while providing necessary assistance to help adoption of Data Catalogue and associated processes.Support implementation of Data Governance processes, frameworks, policies, and standards across the business.Contribute to internal and external audits as needed.Work with the business designing and iterating processes; streamlining them to reduce effort, uplift compliance, and deliver business value.Your day-to-day work life will involve managing multiple tasks and priorities, and collaboration depending on tasks assigned.Data Governance at UniSuper is still maturing allowing you the opportunity to help shape and grow this functionality at UniSuper.About youWe expect each employee to live our values and behavioural expectations each day. In addition to this you will:1-2 years of experience in a data related role (Data Management experience will be highly valued)Keen to learn tools and processesExperienced in working within Agile methodology for Project and BAU.Experienced in self-managing end-to-end delivery of small initiatives.Good stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, relationship development, and conflict resolution skills.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Experienced with Alation or other data cataloguing solutions (good to have).Proficient in using MS Office package tools to develop data governance related artefacts.Knowledge of the regulatory framework under which superannuation funds operate i.e. CPS234, Australian Privacy Act (good to have).Superannuation experience is preferred but Financial Services experience will also be a plus.UniSuper believes that the best way to achieve great things is when we come together and collaborate.
