Associate-Cre- Non-Bank Lender

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join the growing business with an existing tenure at a pre-eminent non-bank lender or possibly a CRE Banking team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the origination, structuring, and execution of private debt transactions for the senior originators in the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience to advance their career in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities: Transaction Support: Assist in the analysis, structuring, and execution of private debt transactions, with a focus on investment and development real estate transactions.Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, perform scenario analysis, and support decision-making processes.Due Diligence: Conduct detailed due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis, credit assessment, and risk evaluation.Market Research: Perform market research and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the private debt and structured finance sectors.Portfolio Management: Support the ongoing management of existing investments, including monitoring performance, preparing reports, and making recommendations for portfolio adjustments.Documentation: Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, pitch books, and other transaction-related documentation.Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members, external advisors, and clients to facilitate successful deal execution and portfolio management.Qualifications: Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in a relevant deals team within a private debt, non-bank lender, banking, transaction services or real estate capital markets business.Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
A Master's degree or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, ACA) would be an advantage.Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.Proficiency in financial analysis and valuation techniques.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).Benefits: Competitive salary and performance-based bonus.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement within a growing firm.Exposure to high-profile transactions and the opportunity to work with industry leaders.
