The Opportunity A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join the Construction team of a leading Australian law firm. This firm prides itself on offering a collaborative and supportive environment where your career growth is nurtured.

About the Team and Work This role offers exposure to a wide variety of significant construction projects, including some of Australia's largest infrastructure and building developments. You will work with a range of blue-chip companies, government bodies, and national property developers. The focus of this role is primarily on "front-end" construction, including contract drafting, negotiation, and advisory work. The team is known for providing world-class service and expertise, and this opportunity is open to candidates based on the east coast of Australia. The firm has multiple offices on the east coast and are open to discussion of which office you would like to be based in. The firm's national construction practice operates collaboratively, giving you the opportunity to work with colleagues from different locations.

About You A minimum of 4 years' experience in construction law, gained at a well-regarded mid or top-tier firm. Strong experience in "front-end" construction contracts, including drafting and negotiation. Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills, as well as the ability to liaise directly with clients. A collaborative, inclusive attitude and the willingness to mentor junior lawyers within the team.
