We are seeking an experienced Associate Communication Services Engineer to join our Technology team. About the Role As the Associate Communication Services Engineer , you will be part of a team of engineers responsible for providing technical guidance, contributing to strategic direction, and offering technical leadership and designs. Your role will ensure the high availability, stability, scalability, and security of our solutions.
You will support, administer, and maintain telephony, contact centre, push-to-talk, and communications infrastructure. This includes architectural input and review, design, build and installation, monitoring, optimisation, and hardware and software management.
In addition, you will:
Contribute to and drive technology strategies and roadmaps, setting of standards and procedures, ensuring they are documented, communicated and adhered to. Foster knowledge transfer and innovation. Engage in solution design and providing technical and architectural guidance and review. Contribute to capacity planning and solution lifecycle management. Undertake on-call responsibilities and be available to work out of hours on project/maintenance activities as required. About You Joining a collaborative and dynamic team, you will be an innate problem solver with a strategic, innovative, and outcome-driven mindset. You will be able to take the lead in critical issue resolution when required. As a team player with a positive attitude, you will have excellent organisation, time management, project management, change management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
You will also have:
1 - 3 years hands-on work experience in communication technology administration. Proven knowledge in project and support work in large network environments. Experience with Mitel (or other phone systems/PABX technology). Experience with RingCentral (cloud-based telephony platform). Experience with Nice InContact CXOne (or other contact centre platforms). Cisco Certification (CCNA or better) desirable. Familiarity with SIP protocol. We're here to support you.
