Associate Commercial Manager - Small to Medium Customers page is loaded Associate Commercial Manager - Small to Medium Customers Apply locations Sydney, Australia time type Full time posted on Posted 30+ Days Ago job requisition id 2024-13084 About the RoleIn line with the Commercial strategy/Operating/Regional plans and under close supervision of a more senior Commercial Manager, to manage long term relationships with small to medium sized accounts in order to meet customer requirements and to achieve targeted sales, revenue growth and traffic development. Alternatively, may manage small sized infrastructures and/or parts of sales programs/initiatives. Additionally, to plan, prepare and administrate customer requests / provide a full range of administrative and logistics support in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with defined guidelines and service levels.What to expect: Identify customer needs / market opportunities and achieve business growth by maintaining long term customer relationships with primarily small accounts and/or developing assigned market infrastructures and/or implementing initiatives with small size/complexity.
Assist more senior Commercial Managers in the development of plans for small to medium sized accounts/infrastructure development/initiatives in order to achieve targeted sales objectives in an optimal, cost-beneficial way.
Assist in the implementation of plans/projects/initiatives towards assigned customers/market infrastructure by coordinating and tracking assigned activities.
Assist in representing SWIFT in promoting products and services by participating to regional fairs, forums, meetings.
Liaise with other divisions/departments, commercial team manager and members in order to provide a coordinated service and integrated solution to assigned customers and to ensure compliance in the delivery of products and services . Feedback internally market intelligence, customer feedback, product issues and other relevant information.
Process, schedule and co-ordinate the delivery and fulfilment of products and services in accordance with defined delivery schedules and guidelines and procedures. Liaise with internal and external data providers and customers in accordance with agreed parameters and timescales.
Analyse, oversee and approve customer requests providing guidance to business rules and tools.
Act as the point of escalation for customers and /or customer problems, providing support to processes in own area of expertise, where appropriate and/or to customers directly.
Participate in the development and enhancement of tools and solutions for supporting the E2E customer data management process for existing products and services.
Review problem situations and identify corrective measures and/or improvements to processes, procedures or tools in order to increase efficiency and quality.
Acquire and maintain skills and knowledge, including operational, business process and product knowledge.
Administrative Support: Managing correspondence with office supply vendors
Facilities Management: Overseeing office maintenance, supplies, and equipment.
What will make you successful: University degree in business/finance related, MBA will be preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in business development or account management, of which at least 1 year in the financial industry .
Experience of managing sophisticated solution sales project, preferably from banking or financial services
Experience working in a diverse, multi-cultural, cross-functional environment and across geographies and teams.
Ability to manage all aspects of a client's business and take a leadership role managing assigned accounts.
Comfort with high levels of ambiguity and the skills to prioritize within a rapidly changing environment.
Excellent internal and external interpersonal and networking skills including at senior management level.
Communicates strategy and key messages with clarity, consistency and confidence.
Excellent writing and speaking skills in English.
