Associate Commercial Assets Employment Type: TemporaryEmployment period: Until 30 June, 2025Classification / Grade / Band: Clerk Grade 7/8Remuneration: $110,266 - $122,058; plus, Superannuation and Leave LoadingLocation: Sydney CBD, Flexible & hybrid working options availableApplications Close: Wednesday, 27 November 2024 at 9:59amRole impact & contribution Your typical day-to-day work will include providing strategic, financial, policy, governance and commercial advice on issues affecting government businesses in the energy and water sectors to drive financial performance and policy outcomes.
Proactively building robust relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders is paramount, as is your contribution to improving the delivery of outcomes across the NSW Government through effective communication, collaboration, and advocacy with Treasury teams and agency counterparts.
You will be joining our Commercial Group and will be working within the Commercial Assets Division.

You have the ability to advise and challenge constructively at a senior level.You are a collaborator. You will partner with Treasury colleagues, departmental stakeholders and government businesses in the energy and water sectors to manage complex issues, risks and opportunities facing these government businesses.You are solutions-focused. You are focused on both analysing the nature of a problem and developing potential solutions and/or effective and achievable recommendations.You can deliver. You are comfortably leading on key projects and issues, including working to sometimes challenging deadlines and changing requirements.
