They are a specialist structural and civil engineering firm with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane designing and delivering building projects throughout Australia. The firm is a tier 1 consultant in the commercial, residential, retail, health, defence, transport, education, and hospitality sectors, with over $3 billion of construction currently on site.
The Role
We are seeking a technically focused civil engineer with 8+ years of experience who is passionate about design and meeting our client's needs. You will be joining an established consultancy with the opportunity to contribute to and influence the growth of our civil engineering business. You will have hands-on technical design experience in civil engineering, are motivated by developing new skills and learning and possess a strong desire to exceed our client's expectations. Your experience includes the design of roads, drainage, earthworks, and utility coordination.
The Required Skills
Qualification in the field of civil design
Career objective to play a senior role in a leading consulting firm
Advanced design skills in road, drainage, earthworks, and utility construction
Advanced analytical and design skills
Sufficient knowledge, understanding and experience in Civil 3D, DRAINS, and MUSIC
Sound understanding of AR&R and stormwater design for building developments
Working experience developing car park and road designs with a sound understanding of AS2890 and Austroads
Experience in dealing with clients, consultants, and contractors
Enjoy working in teams and autonomously
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
The Additional Beneficial Skills
Pavement design, including the use of Austroads Design of Pavements and Circly
Motor vehicle license and WHS white card
Chartership with Engineers Australia Preferred
