As an Associate BA, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating internal ideas, as well as generating your own creative solutions, to uplift operational processes within Mortgage Operations.
You will deliver "Quick Wins" to the business that support and improve operational practices and processes, risk, and quality across business units in Mortgage Operations.
Further key responsibilities include:
Review, design, and execute process improvementsIdentify knowledge and skills gaps, and embed changesAnalyse data sets to identify effective ways to improve efficiencyModel business processes and identify opportunities for process improvementsIdentify issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutionsEvaluate and report on business impacts on proposed or ongoing changesLiaise with diverse groups of stakeholders including the Executive Team, Senior Leadership Team, and other internal and external customers, to understand business needs, project scope, and visionFacilitate and provide specialist advice to business units via targeted workshops and interviews to identify and resolve specific issues impacting critical business outcomesManage the end-to-end delivery of process design and process improvement projects What's in it for me?
This is a junior opportunity perfect if you are someone with consulting, business analyst, project management experience, or have a Masters Qualification (such as an MBA), who wants to progress on their beginning journey as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Consultant, and/or Product Manager.
This role provides the opportunity to influence stakeholders across the mortgage value chain and drive the execution of the mortgage strategy through transformation and change delivery.

What do I need?
To be successful in this role you must have initial experience in Mortgage Operations, Broker Credit Approvals, Settlements, and/or loans, and ideally be from a financial services organisation.
You must also be a passionate and curious individual, who is keen on continuous improvement and has the desire to help our business grow.
You will also have a growth mindset, demonstratable problem-solving experience, adaptability, and the ability to work in a high-impact fast-paced environment.
Other advantageous attributes include:
Experience in managing and implementing small to medium sized initiatives in projects or changeExperience in development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ability and confidence to facilitate workshops to achieve implementation outcomes across multifunctional teamsDesire to develop into a business analyst roleHigh level of competence with Microsoft Office products including MS Visio and MiroUnderstanding of the rapid/agile process improvement model, Kaizen, and/or LEAN Six Sigma methodologies, to deliver business process improvement.
