Job Description: Our teams work with leaders in the public sector to solve problems, build consensus and implement policies and programs that impact millions of people. Joining alongside our colleagues in Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific, we are actively looking for analytical problem solvers to support us as we grow our work across APAC.
As an Associate, you will work alongside colleagues as part of a small team engaging government leaders, partners and specialist experts to support better delivery of public services for the good of people. Your primary role will be to support on-the-ground delivery of project priorities. Our partnerships with clients in the region focus on impact for beneficiaries and refining implementation along the way, accounting for learnings in the local context.
Key Responsibilities: Support clients to solve problems and deliver impact at scale. Use data to formulate and test recommendations as a means of improving senior level decision-making. Participate in problem-solving and collaboration through action-oriented routines, workshops, and project activities throughout the project life cycle. Engage frontline services providers and end users to inform policy and program implementation. Required Skills/Experiences: Educational background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (public policy, government administration, economics, public health, etc.). Requisite years of professional experience and/or apprenticeship pathways will also be considered in lieu of formal education. Professional experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant, full-time work experience in government, consulting, policy, project management and/or impact measurement. Technical proficiency: Familiarity working in the standard business suite (analysing data in spreadsheets, creating presentations, etc.). Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with business fluency in English (written and spoken). Authorization + location requirements: Must be based in and have an existing right to work in Australia (Sydney base location preferred).
