We aim to grow our team with individuals from diverse backgrounds, believing this will offer a selection of talents, skills, and experiences that benefit our team through creativity, greater innovation, and a range of perspectives and ideas.You will sit in our Sustainable Infrastructure and Precincts team, working on our biggest, most complex, and highest ambition sustainability projects across:RailRoadEnergyWaterPrecinctsDefence projectsFrom the early business case phase, design, construction, and operational phases.A typical day for you:Providing oversight and guidance of deliverables for medium and large scale projectsProviding guidance and management to our QLD Team to achieve high performance outcomes for our people, projects, and clientsContributing to and guiding project planning, project management, budgeting, and controlsDeveloping and maintaining relationships with clientsEstablishing and maintaining WSP's leadership position in the QLD Sustainability SectorApplying a deep understanding of sustainability/ESD principles to solve complex problems, particularly on decarbonization of infrastructure assetsProducing, reviewing, and QA'ing designs and reports to meet client requirements for projectsLeading and delivering client meetings and workshopsWhat we'll love about you:Bachelor of Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent sustainability-related discipline10 - 12 years industry experience as a Sustainability Consultant or similar role, preferably in the infrastructure sectorExperience with best practice standards relating to decarbonization (such as PAS2080, IS Ratings, and other bespoke tools and frameworks)Experienced with guiding, reviewing, and undertaking technical analysis covering various aspects of sustainability, such as energy, water, and waste modelling; climate resilience; and life-cycle analysisAbility to use complex theoretical knowledge and experience of engineering/scientific principles to analyse, interpret, and conclude project requirements and challengesPassionate about developing solutions for a low carbon, sustainable built environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbout WSPWSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services firms, bringing together approximately 6,000 talented people across 15 offices in Australia.
