WiZDOM Advisory provides a full range of financial advice. We are a local, privately owned firm operating under our own AFSL and pride ourselves on providing fee-for-service advice that's in the clients' best interest.
The Role If you are passionate about financial planning and serious about growing in this field with sound experience and technical ability, this is a great opportunity to join us.
You will be working alongside our senior advisers to assist with the delivery of high-quality service, and the provision of professional and compliant advice to clients. In this role, you will be completing research, preparing high-quality complex advice documents (including modelling via XPLAN), and assisting with the implementation of the advice. There is the potential for career progression to a Financial Adviser over time, for the right person.
This position is suited for a highly motivated person that has a strong work ethic, copes in an ever-changing environment, can work autonomously and as part of a team, has excellent attention to detail, can meet deadlines, and is ready to hit the ground running.
Role Requirements Communication is KEY – both verbal and written communication skills need to be of a high standard.A minimum of three years' experience in financial services, this could be as a Junior Financial Adviser, Associate, Paraplanner, or Senior Client Services Manager with some experience with complex advice and implementation.Ideally experience in Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Advice.Completed tertiary education requirements (and the professional year if required) – preferred but not essential.Strategically minded, with the ability to work with the Adviser around strategy recommendations and workshop possibilities.Strong experience in XPLAN / XTOOLS is essential.Sound technical and research skills with a broad knowledge base and thorough understanding of industry regulations.Experience in cash flow modelling, super and risk comparison, and insurance quoting.Ability to implement advice effectively and efficiently.Solid working knowledge of the compliance requirements and the ongoing obligations when provisioning advice.Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and customer service experience is highly desired.To apply for this role, click "Apply" and attach your resume and cover letter detailing your experience.
