Using your skills in evidence-based analysis in Consulting (Risk Analytics and Actuarial), you'll combine data analytics, quantitative modelling, financial risk management, financial reporting and industry knowledge to provide advisory services to our clients. You will support our clients in making informed and strategic decisions about their business by helping them gain insights into their operations and provide them with evidence-based analysis to manage their risk effectively. In conjunction with data visualisation tools, you'll utilise your advanced data analytical and statistical skills to build and communicate insights to key stakeholders. You will intersect risk and technology by building cutting-edge AI and automation tools and applications to enable transformational change for our clients.

As an associate in our Actuarial team your impact will be seen by: Defining, analysing and solving complex financial and business problems relating to areas such as reserving, pricing, capital, risk management, and simulations to support strategic decision making. Reviewing and opinioning on the work of actuaries from some of the largest financial services organisations in Australia. Evaluating and describing the reliability and utility of source information. Interacting with a range of stakeholders to understand the real-world business problem(s), and coordinating diverse views to create a clear, objective, quantitatively assessed range of options. Analysing and interpreting demographic, financial or economic data, and producing relevant statistics to describe and infer particular trends and patterns and predict and assess the long-term risk involved in financial decisions and planning. About You: High level of financial acumen and skilled in financial modelling. Background in general insurance or private health insurance preferred. Bachelor degree or high qualification. Preference to currently be pursuing actuarial qualifications. It is desirable if you have programming capabilities in SAS / R / VBA / SQL. Able to conduct workshops to determine the customer's needs. An ability to establish and maintain excellent client relationships. Strong time management skills and well-developed research and problem solving skills. A resourceful and flexible approach.
