Associate (2-3 Years Pae) - Property - Sydney

We represent one of Australia's most pre-eminent national law firms, who is looking for an Associate to join their Property & Projects team.
The Team  Our client's Property & Projects team is amongst the leading Australian practices with the team working with clients on a range of transactions including property developments, capital transactions and land acquisitions and sales for development.
The team works on a variety of property transactions, encompassing a broad range of both direct and indirect commercial, retail, industrial and agricultural property transactions.
The Role  This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with high-profile clients and an exciting array of property transactions.
As a valued member of the team, you will collaborate with a dynamic partner, enhancing the reputation of a well-respected practice while nurturing client relationships.
Additionally, the team handles a diverse range of property transactions, consisting of:  Preparing, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents, including contracts for sale, put and call option deeds, joint venture agreements (both unincorporated and incorporated), co-ownership agreements and management rights agreements.
Acting for developers in drafting and negotiating fund through arrangements with investors including mitigating rent guarantee risk and managing the pass through of risk between the tenancy documents and the developer's deliverables to the investor.
Assisting with transaction project management.
Advising on easement and access rights and obligations.
Requirements    Ideally you will have 2-3 years post admission experience with a genuine passion for property work and a track record of working on a range of commercial property matters.
Although, our client is willing to hear from anyone that is more junior who can demonstrate relevant pre-admission experience.
Additionally, you will have experience in:  Drafting a variety of property documents.
Negotiating contracts of sale, as appropriate to your level of post-admission experience.
Demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation.
Exposure to capital transactions, including drafting and negotiating contracts of sale for commercial properties, as well as sales and acquisitions of development sites.
Conduct property due diligence for acquisitions and prepare due diligence reports.
Advise on easements and land subdivisions.
