Associate 1, Infrastructure

This is an opportunity to join a market-leading infrastructure coverage team of a Global Investment Bank in Melbourne. Due to a healthy pipeline of mandates, the team would like to speak with high-calibre corporate finance professionals (ideally with experience in a similar investment bank or infrastructure corporate finance team) to join as an Associate 1 or 2.The opportunityContributing to both the origination and execution of deals, the position requires an individual capable of working with the Analyst pool to prepare accurate and insightful sector and company research, information memorandums & pitch books, create comprehensive financial models & analytics and undertake other ad-hoc tasks as requested by peers and senior team members. This is a high-pressure client-facing role hence strong communication skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced, hard-working environment is essential.Required skills & experienceSuccessful applicants will have 3-6 years of relevant experience in a similar Mergers and Acquisitions or Corporate Finance environment, such as an investment bank, boutique advisor or Big 4 corporate finance practice. Strong communication skills, excellent modelling and analysis skills, exemplary academic results (Distinction Average) and post graduate qualifications such as CFA or CA will be highly regarded as will a highly commercial, strategic outlook.
