In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in empowering our clients to achieve greater independence and unlock their full potential.
What you'll be doing Conduct thorough augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) assessments to understand the unique needs and goals of each clientRecommend and demonstrate a range of speech-generating devices, including eye-gaze systems, direct access systems, as well as low-tech and high-tech switchesProvide comprehensive training and support to help clients and their families maximise the benefits of the AAC deviceCollaborate with healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and speech pathologists, to provide comprehensive support for clientsStay up-to-date with the latest advancements in assistive technology and continuously expand your knowledge and expertiseContribute to the development of new products and services by providing valuable feedback and insightsWhat we're looking for Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as biomedical engineering, speech pathology, occupational therapy, or rehabilitation engineeringExperience in assistive technology or a similar role, working with clients across a range of disabilitiesStrong understanding of the latest AAC solutions and their applicationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with clients and healthcare professionalsDemonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills to tailor solutions to individual needsPassionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilitiesAccess to a car and a full driver's licenseWhat we offer Base salary + sales commissions + monthly and biannual bonuses.Ongoing training and professional development opportunitiesSupportive and inclusive work environmentOpportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative teamFlexible work arrangements to support work-life balanceAbout us Control Bionics is a Melbourne-based leading provider of cutting-edge assistive technology solutions, focused on empowering people with disabilities to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
