We are seeking a proactive and skilled Assistant Workshop Manager to join our team based in Alice Springs.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to support and lead workshop operations, ensuring excellent customer service and high standards in vehicle servicing and repairs.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Workshop Manager in daily operations, including overseeing mechanics and administrative staff.
Ensure high-quality service standards, timely job completions, and optimal resource allocation.
Maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment, prioritising workplace health and safety regulations.
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with suppliers, manage inventory, and ensure the availability of parts and tools.
Assist in managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and preparing reports.
Handle customer inquiries and ensure exceptional customer service.
Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience in a similar automotive workshop role.
Strong leadership and organisational skills with an eye for detail.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
Mechanical qualifications or equivalent experience is advantageous.
