Your day on a page An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Village Manager to join Lexington Gardens Retirement Village in Springvale! Offering contemporary surrounds and a vibrant community, this village sets a beautiful backdrop to a rewarding career.
The successful candidate will be focused on supporting operational functions of the village and managing day-to-day activities and competing priorities, ensuring the village is properly maintained for the enjoyment of the residents.

Connect as One Team Supporting the day-to-day operations at the village Contributing to effective resident management to foster strong customer relationships Realise the Opportunities Implementing operational plans & projects Support in the delivery of village maintenance and development projects, overseeing contractors Make Room for Kindness Implementing company policies, strategies, and plans to maintain residents and employee satisfaction Supporting the provision of a safe working environment for all staff, contractors, visitors, and residents Find the Fun Assisting with running village events, social calendar, and activities Lead with Heart Work closely with the Village Manager and team to create a friendly, supportive environment Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the village Assisting with the compliance of Environmental, Health, and Safety at the village Respect Everyone's Journey Supporting the provision of a safe working environment for all staff, contractors, visitors, and residents Having a vibrant people-centric focus will see you thrive in this role, as will: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Excellent computer literacy – including the Microsoft Office Suite An ability to balance different priorities and manage day-to-day expectations for the residents and their families Willingness to learn and professionally develop, along with a proactive and can-do attitude. Strong people management and problem solving skills and the ability to lead by example Experience with budgeting (desirable) Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate - or be willing to obtain Ideal for those from a Customer Service, Property or Hospitality management background What do we do?
