Assistant Venue Manager - Kitchen Manager/Supervisor - Multiple Positions Burger Urge Toowoomba South are on the lookout for applicants for the following positions:
These positions are hands-on which means we are not looking for a clipboard manager/supervisor, we are looking for energetic, hardworking and motivated applicants who embrace and drive change while positively influencing the workplace culture. Reporting to the Venue Manager, the successful applicants will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the business.
Core Elements to Roles
Lead the team by ensuring top quality product and exceptional customer service Maintain efficient staffing levels, ensuring staffing and customer service standards are met to Burger Urges expectations Follow and administer all opening, closing, operational and food safety procedures Control stock by ensuring stock par levels are maintained with high quality product and minimal wastage Preparing food according to Burger Urge standards and recipes, including cooking, grilling, frying, and assembling food items. Greeting customers and taking their orders in a timely and friendly manner. (Assistant Restaurant Manager) Train staff as per Burger Urges training framework Assist with hiring staff and basic HR queries Ensure the restaurant is clean and well-presented Encourage safe work practices and champion Burger Urges policies and procedures Create a positive culture through irreverence and empathetic engagements What are we seeking?
Prior experience managing/supervising and training teams in a high-volume hospitality or customer service-oriented environment RSA and Food Safety Supervisor Certificates Experience managing staff levels Experience managing stock par levels and rotation Can demonstrate exemplary customer service, communication, leadership, mentoring and training skills Someone who actively seeks development opportunities Can foster a dynamic, cohesive, inclusive, and supportive culture Have an understanding of the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
