The Melbourne team prides itself on having a strong client base across all segments of the market and is often sought out by our clients to undertake more complex valuation assignments.Our Assistant Valuer role requires analytical skills, valuations and financial capability working within the Residential Development Valuations team.What this job involvesAs an Assistant Valuer within the Residential Development Valuations team in Melbourne, you will play a crucial role in maintaining JLL's position as the market leader for local and national Value and Risk Advisory consultancy services. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your valuation skills while working alongside experienced Directors in a dynamic and growing sector.You will be encouraged to participate in specialised training and mentoring programs to support your progression towards CPV Valuer Accreditation.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining and learning basic valuation approaches.Shadow an experienced Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) to gain experience delivering a variety of valuations focusing on residential development.Assist with the provision of timely, accurate valuations and consultancy advice.Collaborate with senior team members on complex valuation projects.Undertake financial and sensitivity analysis and develop Estate Master skills.Undertake data verification and analysis.Compile and verify market evidence for reports and analysis.Provide direct assistance as required to enable the team to effectively undertake its functions.Attend client functions and seminars as required.Actively promote yourself and the JLL business through client engagement and marketing initiatives.Leverage research capacity by circulating relevant market data and sales analysis.Develop valuation reports in conjunction with new team innovations, AI, ESG and IT platforms consistent with client and stakeholder requirements.Communicate with JLL clients and other stakeholders.Effectively plan workflows to meet deadlines.Utilise leading-edge technology as determined by the client including sales and rental databases, mobile computing platforms and management information systems.Commitment to personal and professional development.Work effectively as part of the team and develop independent thinking.Work closely with Sales teams.Interested?
