THE POSITION
Closely supporting & relieving the unit manager with day-to-day operations of all village functions including – catering, housekeeping, administration, facilities maintenance, grounds/ gardening, security & offsite catering.Maintaining and improving consistent catering presentation and food safety standardsDriving new systems targeted at service delivery and waste minimisationDriving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performanceFostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovationSecondary ownership and accountability of site KPI's & operations targetsStaff engagement and development, modelling positive working relationships, demonstrating trust, care and respectChampion community engagement & events.Monthly, quarterly & yearly reporting and stakeholder engagementTHE PERSON
Experience in Village and or facilities managementStrong and decisive leadership skillsExperience managing multiple stakeholder relationships and project deadlines with competing prioritiesStrong financial and analytical skills in developing budgets and allocating appropriate resources to ensure a sustainable and profitable business, preferably within the remote or offshore sectorAbility to identify and implement new innovations within the facilities management, hospitality, or hotel services industryExperience in Staff recruitment, retention, rostering, and subsequent management of both permanent and casual workforcesChef qualifications are also desirable, as is proven management experience in the hospitality field, ideally within a Catering and or Accommodation services environmentTHE BENEFITS
