About the roleWe are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong administrative experience and hands-on tactical expertise in travel design to help create seamless and exceptional travel experiences for our clients. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Travel Designers to prepare comprehensive custom designed travel itineraries, to best suit clients specific needs. The role will ensure prompt and efficient attention to telephone calls and email enquiries from suppliers, wholesalers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:Booking & Coordination: Check trip availability through various channels, handle supplier requests, and assist with assembling and distributing travel packets. Be on call to support clients "in-country" as needed.Administrative Support & Organisation: Create and maintain accurate client files, manage databases, and ensure all files are up-to-date to support the Travel Design team.Problem Solving & Innovation: Provide proactive solutions in problem-solving situations like addressing booking issues or last-minute changes to meet client needs.Team Collaboration & Performance: Review priorities and track KPIs.System & Accuracy Maintenance: Maintain accurate, up-to-date restaurant and activity recommendation lists.About The TailorCelebrating 25 years of pioneering Australian hand-crafted journeys, The Tailor is recognised as the originator of five-star experiential travel in Australia.
