About Us Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the 'Courts Group'.

About the Role The focus of this role is to provide high-level technical and administrative support to the Strategic Advisor, Listings and Allocations within the chambers of the Chief Magistrate, and to provide on-site administrative assistance as part of the Judicial Support Unit at Melbourne Magistrates' Court.
The role works closely and collaboratively with the Strategic Advisor, Listings and Allocations, the Executive Assistant to the Chief Magistrate, and Coordinating Registrars across the state. The role also frequently liaises with magistrates and judicial registrars.
Key duties of the role include assisting the Strategic Advisor, Listings and Allocations with preparation and maintenance of roster systems, and managing daily communications related to coordination issues.
The role contributes to a range of projects and other tasks such as the review of systems and processes, administration of judicial leave, and the management of detailed records related to the coordination of judicial officers statewide.
About You Applicants should have experience in court registry operations and require knowledge of practice, procedure, and protocol relevant to the Magistrates' Court and related jurisdictions. An understanding of coordination functions, such as case management and listing protocol, is advantageous.
