The Assistant Systems Accountant, under the direction of the Senior Systems Accountant, assists with the strategic and operational administration of financial management systems and processes used across the Department.This role involves:Providing consultancy services to stakeholders and clients on accounting systems and operations.Assisting the Senior Systems Accountant in maintaining the quality and integrity of system-oriented service delivery.Contributing to evaluating, maintaining, and developing financial systems utilized across the Department.Supporting system enhancement projects to implement best practices across processes.Minimum RequirementsTo be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector, you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.Benefits and opportunitiesFlexible working arrangementsCareer pathway opportunitiesLearning and development opportunity programsApplication processPlease ensure you review the attached Job Description Form (JDF) for further information about the requirements of the position.
