Assistant Store Manager - Shoes & Sox

The role:Currently, we are on a mission to find an exceptional Assistant Store Manager to help lead our dynamic team at Shoes & Sox Burwood.
As a leader in the business, you will inspire and help mentor a diverse team of footwear enthusiasts to reach set KPIs and sales targets – celebrating the wins and encouraging the team to be proud of the contribution they have to the wider business strategy!
This role works a Sunday-Thursday roster.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Supporting the Store Manager, you will motivate a passionate team and assist with managing the daily store operations.
Build and drive a customer-led culture through leading by example and delivering excellent service standards.
Closely monitor store sales performance - acknowledge outstanding results and identify any areas of improvement.
Ensure store presentation is immaculate through visual merchandising.
Take a proactive approach in loss prevention management i.e. stock shrinkage.
Demonstrate a duty of care by ensuring that the work environment is safe, healthy and fit for work (adhere to state and national OH&S legislation).

The skills and experience we are looking for:

Previous Assistant Store Management or Retail Sales Supervisory experience in training, coaching and mentoring team members.
You are warm, welcoming and enjoy working with children (patience is essential).
You are passionate about creating a memorable service experience for our customers.
A proven record of driving and exceeding KPIs.
You have experience with stock control, visual merchandising and are committed to continuous improvement and learning.
You have excellent time management skills, and are confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
