Assistant Services Superintendent Mining Paramedic FIFOAustralia Paramedic Job – FIFO PerthAn opportunity now exists for an experienced Paramedic to join a close-knit team working for a well-known mining company as it begins the process of ramping up its operations. The role is FIFO on a 12/9 roster from Perth.The purpose of the role is to assist the Safety & Services Superintendent and Site Supervisors to ensure that the mining operations comply with all Company and statutory Occupational Health & Safety policies and regulations as well as providing coaching and training in the areas of safety, health and injury management.The successful applicant MUST have the following:Current WA "C" Class motor vehicle license for manual transmissionCurrent WA Police Clearance (not more than 3 months old)Occupational Health & Safety, Paramedic/Occupational Health Management ERT qualifications.You will have a background in the mining industry and strong experience across all aspects of OH&S, training, emergency response / management, workers compensation, medical protocols and health & safety systems and standards. Other skills and experience required for the role will include a sound working knowledge of risk management, investigative procedures, auditing, ERT, remote operations and issues associated with the FIFO lifestyle.The position demands that you have strong communication, leadership, training and rapport-building skills with the ability to communicate across all levels from site management to front-line leadership. You will set a high standard of performance for yourself and take accountability for the successful delivery of tasks and assignments.You will treat all people with dignity, respect and fairness and adhere to a high level of ethical behaviour and codes of conduct.
