Bunbury Trucks is a leading dealership dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Assistant Service Manager to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our service department.
As the Assistant Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department. Your role is critical in ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, achieving business objectives, and maintaining strong relationships with our Franchisor.
Key Responsibilities · Manage and oversee the daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and staff supervision.
· Ensure all service work is performed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
· Ensure all Repair Orders are closed within 12 hours of job completion.
· Finalise all non-account (COD) customer Repair Orders prior to vehicle release.
· Address customer concerns to maintain high levels of satisfaction and ensure quality service.
· Develop and implement service department policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer service.
· Monitor and manage department performance metrics, including productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
· Coordinate with parts and sales departments to ensure seamless operations and service delivery.
· Oversee the training and development of service staff to enhance skills and performance.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and dealership policies.
· Handle escalated customer issues and provide effective solutions to maintain loyalty.
· Develop and manage the service department budget, focusing on cost control and revenue generation.
· Support the Fixed Operations Manager in achieving overall dealership goals and objectives.
