Port City Autos, home to Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, LDV, Renault, Used Vehicles, Holden Service and a plethora of quality Used Cars, eagerly seeks an experienced Service Advisor looking for advancement to Assistant Service Manager to join our busy multi-franchised Service Team in Hervey Bay.This customer focused role will predominantly lead our front of house customer service team in conjunction with our Fixed Operations Manager and be heavily focused on ensuring that we consistently provide superior customer service and experiences.With responsibility for an array of tasks including leading and growing a team of Service Advisors, providing exemplary customer service each and every time to our broad range of customers, preparing accurate and prompt vehicle quotes, recommendations and updates on repairs and servicing as well as completing a broad range of administration tasks to ensure our dealership is #1 for customer experience across each of our brands.A broad range of prior experience within an OEM service department would be highly advantageous including exposure to supervision and leadership, conflict resolution and achieving KPI's focused on customer service and profitability.Applicants for this position would ideally possess exceptional leadership qualities, strong interpersonal and communication skills, sound mechanical aptitude and understanding, plus be computer literate, punctual and reliable.As the successful candidate you will be responsible for:Delivering outstanding customer experience from the front with your team;Achieving customer satisfaction objectives which align with the Manufacturer and our internal benchmarks;Ensuring all inbound and outbound communications are handled promptly and accurately;Maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant brand, product, marketing and procedures relevant to customer enquiries and issues;Working with internal departments to negotiate positive solutions for our customers;Being able to work as part of a team, providing effective communication.The successful candidate will demonstrate:Previous experience in a similar customer service environment with a Dealership Service Department;Impeccable telephone manner and professional personal appearance;Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal;Proven experience owning and resolving customer's queries;Good knowledge of modern vehicles and a strong mechanical aptitude.By joining our customer service team you become part of a professional and dynamic department that is the foundation for the company's current and future success.We expect this position to fill fast and we will be conducting interviews very quickly.
