(Assistant | Senior) Civil Labourer(S) - Concrete Team

Level 1A - Level 2 About the Opportunity: We have permanent employment opportunities for 2 x Civil Labourers in our Civil Infrastructure section - concrete team.
Based at our operations facility in Woolner, these positions are required to perform general civil labouring duties to support the maintenance and construction of the Council's civil infrastructure including roads, drains, footpaths, driveways, cycle paths, disabled access, and public places.
You must enjoy working as part of a team and be comfortable and capable of working full days in the outdoor environment that we have here in the Northern Territory.
As a Civil Labourer it is expected that you are flexible, reliable, accountable and able to work well with fellow team members.
To be considered for this role you must: Hold and maintain a Class C driver's licence Hold a General Construction Industry - White Card For Level 1 role you must additionally hold: Certificate II in Construction or equivalent qualification and/or a minimum two (2) years relevant experience Medium Rigid (MR) Licence Work Zone Traffic Management 2 & 3 For Level 2 role you must additionally hold: Certificate III in Construction Plant Operations and/or Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent qualification Minimum of three (3) years civil construction/concrete experience Medium Rigid (MR) Licence Work Zone Traffic Management 2 & 3 The positions have a start base salary of $61,287.59 - $67,736.67 per annum, negotiable based on pre-requisites (Level 1A, 1 or 2), plus superannuation. City of Darwin also provides generous leave entitlements such as six (6) weeks annual leave, fifteen (15) days personal leave and a paid RDO each month.
