About Us Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the 'Courts Group'.

About the Role The Courts Council is supported by a Board Secretary, whose role encompasses substantial administrative support for the Courts Council and its Committees, including the preparation of papers, and the distribution of agendas, minutes and relevant documentation for all meetings, ensuring that both the quality and timeliness of the documentation is of the highest level.
The Assistant Secretariat & Governance Officer supports the Board Secretary in co-ordinating information, reports and documentation for the Courts Council and its Committees.
The role also provides support to the Office of the CEO, as required, and the General Counsel in governance-related matters to enhance support for Courts Council and its Committees.
Key accountabilities include: Providing high-level support and assistance to the Board Secretary to ensure the members of the Courts Council and its Committees have the appropriate support for discharging their corporate governance duties.Providing confidential administrative support to the Courts Council and its Committees, including organising the logistics for meetings, liaising with jurisdictions around diaries and venues, preparation of the agenda and papers, and the recording and drafting of meeting minutes.Ensuring the quality and timeliness of Courts Council and Committee papers, agendas and minutes are of a high level and in accordance with CSV standards, and that actions are co-ordinated and followed up in a timely manner.About You Demonstrated experience in providing high-level confidential support to a board or equivalent.Demonstrated experience in the use and application of a Board portal, i.e.
