Our Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Bistro, providing a leadership figure for all our team to aspire to. Your exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a team will be crucial to ensuring the success of the hotel and the satisfaction of every guest that walks through our doors.Reporting directly to our Restaurant Manager, some of our new Assistant Restaurant Managers duties and responsibilities will be:Provide efficient, friendly and professional service and communication to all guests and team members.Take accountability and effectively manage the restaurant in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager.Assist Restaurant Manager in developing special promotional and merchandising plans, advertising materials to help increase revenue.Prepare weekly rosters and consistently monitor labour costs to remain within financial budget.Provide coaching and feedback to managers and staff and assess performance on an ongoing basis.Manage the restaurant to meet or exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness.Assist in conducting staff and daily pre-shift briefings.Assist in the recruitment process and induction of new team members.Participate in workplace consultation on matters pertaining to Work Health Safety (WHS), as per the hotels agreed arrangements.QualificationsWhat we are looking for:Having a minimum of 2 years supervisory or assistant manager experience in a similar hospitality environment or role with assistant manager qualifications desirable.Having Australian Full Working Rights.You are the real deal and do not hold back when it comes to showing your true self!Have outstanding customer service skills who can adapt their approach to make our clients feel welcome.Have a passion for hospitality and are looking to develop your career within the industry.Lead by example, working alongside the team by prioritizing their development and training.RSA Certificate (Responsible Service of Alcohol) is essential.Additional InformationWhat's in it for you:Work in front of the iconic Manly Beach.Benefits Your Way - Great team member benefits (up to 70% off for you to live it up across all Accor Properties & Restaurants).Employee Assistant Program, Birthday day off, Anniversary gifts, discounted gym membership and much more!Work for one of the most prestigious hotels in all of Sydney.Dry-cleaning on us: you won't need to worry about ironing and/or washing your uniform on your days off, we encourage you to embrace life instead!Welcome to our coastal lifestyle.
