Overview: 2 x Full-Time, Continuing positions Salary Level HEW 5 + 17% Superannuation One will be based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and one at the Bundoora West campus, but may be required to work at other campuses as required About the Role As Assistant, Research Training Services, you will provide research services and support to Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidates and supervisors across the HDR lifecycle. This includes providing high quality customer service and administrative support for enrolment, progress, review processes, and other candidature lifecycle activities. You will be joining a dynamic and agile team that fosters a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and service excellence. To be successful in this position, you will have: Experience in supporting high-performing customer focused teams to deliver to a range of clients Strong communication skills including the ability to work with a variety of different stakeholders An ability to work independently, as a member of a team and collaboratively with stakeholders to help achieve the strategic objectives of all colleges Proven organisational and time management skills and the ability to handle various and multiple functions simultaneously and under pressure Demonstrated high level of computer literacy - word processing, presentation software, email, internet and correspondence management databases, and a demonstrated ability to adapt to new IT environments Demonstrated history of behaviour aligned to the RMIT values and professional capability framework An ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and regulations Experience in a University environment or similar organisation (preferred) About the Portfolio Part of the Research and Innovation Portfolio, the School of Graduate Research (SGR) supports graduates to drive innovation and contribute to excellent research outcomes.
